St. Mary's School for the Deaf is coming back to Buffalo with some track & field championship hardware.
The boys and girls teams represented the Buffalo school at the ESDAA Track & Field Championships this weekend. The boys team finished 1st overall in the Division II Championships while the girls finished 2nd overall.

A few athletes won individual titles. On the boys side, Nick Barrus placed first in the 110m hurdles with a time of 18.87 while Ryan Brzezinski places first in the 12lb. shot put with a throw of 41-02.00. On the girls side, Kioneyshka Alvira-Juardo finished first in the long jump with a jum of 13-06.50.
