BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Williamsville girls hockey team continues to make history and is now one win away from a state championship.
On Friday, Williamsville beat Potsdam (Section X) 6-1 in the first NYSPHSAA state semifinal game. With the win, they will play for a state title on Saturday night.
Williamsville struck first in the first period and never looked back. Emma Roland finished with a hat trick while Jenna Cavalieri added two goals in the win.
The NYSPHSAA Championship is set for Saturday at 6 p.m. at HarborCenter.
