Normally the Bisons would practice at Coca-Cola Field as they prepare for a six-game road trip starting on Friday. This year things are a tad different, as the herd has been forced inside because of recent weather in Buffalo.
On Wednesday and Thursday, the Bisons filed onto a bus and made their way to Sportsplex in North Tonawanda, practicing on soccer fields while their home diamond continues to thaw.

On Friday the Bisons were slated to play their 14th game of the season against the Norfolk Tides. Thanks to snow and freezing temperature in Buffalo and in Rochester, the Bisons will be playing their sixth game of the three-week-old season.
