EDMONTON, Alberta (WKBW) — Former Buffalo Sabres goalie Robin Lehner joined three other players as they kneeled for the national anthem ahead of a round-robin match up between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Dallas Stars, Monday night.
Lehner joined his Vegas Golden Knights teammate Ryan Reaves, who is Black, along with Dallas Stars forwards Tyler Seguin and Jason Dickinson to protest racism in the United States.

This comes after Minnesota Wild defenseman Matt Dumba kneeled during the American national anthem ahead of a Stanley Cup play-in game between the Edmonton Oilers and the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday.
Lehner played for the Sabres for three seasons from 2015-18.
