Among the notable storylines, Rasmus Dahlin is set to make his NHL debut. The No. 1 pick in the 2018 NHL Draft has been discussed for years and in Buffalo is perhaps their most promising prospect in franchise history.
"I'm super excited," Dahlin said with a smile Thursday morning. "I can't wait to get started. Nothing special, I'm just very excited."

Thursday will also be the first game in Sabres blue and gold for offseason additions Jeff Skinner, Patrik Berglund, Carter Hutton, Vladimir Sobotka, Tage Thompson, and Conor Sheary among others.
