TORONTO (WKBW) — The Toronto Blue Jays acquired former all-star first baseman/designated hitter Daniel Vogelbach from the Seattle Mariners for cash considerations, Sunday night.
The 27-year-old hit 30 home runs for the Mariners last season and was named to the American League all-star team.
So far this season, Vogelbach has struggled, hitting only two home runs four runs batted in, while having a batting average under .100.
Vogelbach could play his first game as a Blue Jay at Sahlen Field in Buffalo, when the team takes on the Boston Red Sox, Tuesday night.
