Cold temperatures?
Not an issue for World Junior Championship fans.
Friday afternoon marked the first ever outdoor game in World Junior Championship history. Team USA and Team Canada competed on an ice rink at New Era Field in front of a record 44,592 fans.
Before the game, fans from both countries along with others cheering on other countries filled the New Era Field parking lots to tailgate, have fun, and get a jump start on braving the cold weather.
Team USA wound up winning the game, 4-3 in overtime.
