BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A cold front will usher in cooler air for your Wednesday, along with a few scattered showers and linger clouds. Highs on Wednesday only reach into the 60s, a good 10-15 degrees cooler than Tuesday. Linger clouds will clear from north to south later Wednesday and into the evening hours, even the S.Tier will clear out enough to view the Blue Super Moon, it rises at 8:08pm. It's a super moon due to the closeness of the orbit to earth, and it's a blue moon because it's the second full moon in the month (the 1st was on August 1st). As skies clear with the cool air mass in place it'll be a cool start to Thursday near 50. High temperatures are back in the low 70s Thursday afternoon with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures are back to seasonable near 80 this weekend. Expect a heat wave as many kids head back to school next week.
