BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A heat advisory posted for Wednesday from noon-7pm for Niagara, Orleans, and Genesee county. Heat index values will be in the upper 90s. Take precautions to limit strenuous outdoor activities and take frequent breaks.

It'll be another warm and muggy night with most of the region remaining in the lower 70s with light winds. The heat sticks around Wednesday as temperatures soar to near 90 again with some added clouds into the afternoon. Slight chance for an isolated shower inland for the afternoon. Better chance for a scattered shower or t-storm after sunset Wednesday into the night. Expect another warm night as well with temperatures remaining near 70. Warm and muggy with sctd. showers and thundershowers on Thursday. It will be much cooler this weekend and likely remaining a bit unsettled.
