Wind ADVISORY posted 5am-1pm Wednesday for Southern Erie, Chautauqua counties. SE winds from 25-35mph gusting to 50mph will be strongest along the Lake Erie shoreline. Use extra caution traveling in a high profile vehicle, and secure loose outdoor objects.
The Storm Prediction Center includes WNY in a moderate and slight risk of severe t-storms on Wednesday.
Rain is likely overnight with heavy dowpours Wednesday morning and showers and thundershowers into the evening. Highs on Wednesday will be near 60 degrees. Melting snow and heavy rain could lead to flooding across the area and ice jam flooding is possible. Thursday temperatures tumble with snow showers and gusty winds.
