Autumn's Forecast: Hot and humid Friday with Heat Advisories for a portion of WNY

Heat Advisory for Niagara, Orleans, and Genesee Counties on Friday from 12pm to 8pm. The heat index will be in the mid to upper 90s.

It will be hot on Friday with highs near 90 degrees. Dew points will be near 70 and will lead to a very soupy environment. Heat index values approach 100 for our northtowns. It'll be very humid all across WNY Friday and might be hard to cool off, remember to take frequent breaks and drink plenty of fluids through the day. A cold front will move through the area early Saturday bringing the potential for severe storms. It will be cooler this weekend with much less humidity by Sunday!
