BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A pesky low-pressure system will plague WNY through the middle of the week, creating below normal temperatures and rounds of snow showers.
Winds diminish into the 25-30mph range overnight as temperatures drop to freezing with spotty rain/snow showers. Expect some sunshine Tuesday but also some scattered snow showers with little accumulation expected. However, a lake breeze boundary will set up for the northtowns, expect additional cloud cover and the chance for rain/snow showers. The chilliest day of the week arrives Wednesday as temperatures remain in the mid 30s. Lake enhancement and lake breeze boundaries may play a role in an inch or two of accumulation. Sunny and more seasonable on Thursday with a rain/snow shower chance late in the evening.
