BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Few scattered rain showers Thursday morning before steadier, heavier rain arrives for the afternoon and pm commute. Near an inch of rain will be possible before the transition to snow occurs during the overnight into Friday. Temperatures tumble from the mid-40s Thursday into the 30s by Friday morning and into the 20s by Friday afternoon with a gusty wind. Expect some enhanced snow totals for the Niagara Frontier and the hills south of Buffalo with a general amount near 3-5".
