A break from the bitter is on the way this weekend, but whenever there is a temperature fluctuation in this part of the world this time of the year, there's always a bit of wind. Some Sunday morning wake up to a few inches of snow, mainly on the higher elevations south of Buffalo, and that's also where lake flakes will linger on Sunday through the early afternoon. Otherwise, it's largely quiet on Sunday for "game day" with temperatures flirting with the freezing mark! Another round of snow is possible Monday night and Tuesday but will come with a fairly sharp cold front and will cause strong winds across WNY with highest gusts along the Niagara Frontier from Monday into early Tuesday morning.
