BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The City of Buffalo has announced several parks will close.
Effective 8:30 a.m. Friday, the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Centennial Park, Broderick Park, Bird Island Pier and the Erie Basin Marina are all closed to both pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
A statement from the city listed the forecasted weather conditions, including high winds as reasons for closing the parks.
The National Weather Service has issued a Lake Effect Snow Warning and Wind Advisory for all of Erie County, including Buffalo through Saturday.
