BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The passage of a cold front on Saturday triggered a few scattered showers and even a garden variety thunderstorm. Those showers and t-storms are long gone now, and in the front's wake, we have cooler, drier air reestablishing itself across Western New York. The "air that you wear" isn't coming back any time soon. Temperatures on Sunday will climb into the middle 70s, although we'll find some parts of the Southern Tier only into the upper 60s for highs. Everyone will enjoy an ample amount of sun. It will warm up nicely early in the week before a cold front knocks the temperature down for a day or so Wednesday. The combination of a cool breeze and some showers will make it feel like autumn for a day. It does warm up again for the end of the week and into next weekend.
