BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — After a very cold start to Thursday, Friday will start 20 degrees warmer in the upper 50s and lower 60s. It'll be a breezy day with southerly winds as temperatures rise into the 70s, especially along the lake-shore and across the Niagara Frontier. Expect a few spotty showers to hug the lake-shore in the afternoon but much of the region remains rain-free until late in the evening as a cold front arrives. Rain showers remain in play overnight and through much of Saturday before taper off from west to east during the later afternoon. It'll be much cooler with highs near 60 on Saturday. A few late evening showers Saturday night will be possible as the low-pressure system pushed east. Sunday may start with some clouds but will quickly clear with highs more seasonable back in the upper 60s.
