More mild air for Tuesday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — More mild temperatures for Tuesday as daytime highs run back into the mid 50s. Light rain showers arrive during the evening hours from 5pm - 11pm with most of the rain focused on the Northtowns. Clouds will clear out on Wednesday allowing for some sunshine as the air stays mild in the lower 50s. Another warm day on the way for Thursday as a gusty southerly breeze will push temps near 60F in the Northtowns and 50s for the S. Tier. Rain showers arrive Thursday night into early Friday as temperatures cool through the 50s into the 40s. The weekend will see the air cool enough for the lake effect machine to start up first as rain then make the switch to snow from Friday night through Monday.
