BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A major pattern change in the weather will lead to above normal temperatures for WNY through early next week.
High pressure to our south will keep the area dry through late Tuesday.
Not only will it be dry but it will also be mild for this time of year.
The normal high is 52 degrees and we will see temperatures 15 to 20 degrees above normal this weekend through early next week.
The record high on Sunday is 70 degrees set in 2011.
The record high on Monday is 70 degrees set in 1891.
The record high on Tuesday is 69 degrees set in 1975.
All of these records could be tied or broken but the best chance for record warmth will be on Monday.
The forecast high on Monday is 71.
