High Wind Warning in effect for Chautauqua, Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Cattaraugus, Wyoming, and Genesee Counties from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. Friday.

Wind Advisory for Allegany County from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.

Winds could gust near 60 miles per hour this afternoon across the region.

These strong winds, combined with a saturated ground, could lead to some trees and power lines coming down.

Scattered power outages are possible today.

If you have a generator today is a great day to make sure it's working properly.

Travel in high profile vehicles will be difficult on Friday as well.
