BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The temperature at 11am hit 90 degrees at the Buffalo Airport. This marks the 8th straight day at or above 90.
This breaks the old record of 7 straight days set in 1988.

Lake Erie is now 76 degrees which is a new record for this date. Lake Erie is 6 degrees above normal.
Our temperatures will be in the 80s for the weekend through early next week.
Computer models are in agreement that another heat wave will develop and highs will be back near 90 from Wednesday through next weekend.
