BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued
-Wednesday 6am until 1pm for Southern Erie, Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Allegany Counties with a few hundreds of an inch of ice.
-Wednesday 2am until noon for McKean and Potter Counties with one tenth of an inch of ice and coating of sleet.
Snow, sleet, and freezing rain will make the roads slick and lower visibility. This will have the greatest impact on the morning commute.
A wintry mix arrives toward Wednesday morning. Snow, sleet and freezing rain will change to rain Wednesday afternoon with highs in the upper 40s with a gusty breeze. Temperatures continue to rise into Thursday as highs top out in the 60s. Scattered showers and isolated t-storms are possible with winds gusting near 40mph. Winter strikes back on Friday, and that's not April Fooling temperatures remain in the 30s with snow showers.
