BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Lake Effect Snow Warning for Southern Erie, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Wyoming County now through 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Winds gusting over 40 miles per hour will make for difficult travel.
Lakeshore Flood Advisory for Erie and Chautauqua counties now through 11am Friday. Strong winds from the west/southwest will cause a rise on water levels along the shoreline resulting in flooding along low lying areas. Spray along route 5 possible in Athol Springs.
